Age-friendly School Project final report

 In LGNI Publications, Resources

Early in 2014 LGNI were awarded a grant of just under £8000 to undertake the Age-friendly School Project in the Cregagh estate. Belfast Health Development Unit via the Belfast Strategic Partnership and Healthy Ageing Strategic Partnership (HASP) supported this project under the ‘Reducing Isolation’ grant scheme. It turned out to be a very rewarding and successful project; it was an exciting journey taking an intergenerational and school-based approach to the vision of Age-friendly and the issue of social isolation.
